    Hungry Robber Fly

A robber fly on its first grasshopper prey that we encountered last saturday at NTU grounds. a quite sensitive even though it already have a prey.

Just after few minutes of hide and seek with this robber fly finally its get its 2nd prey this time a fruit fly with a beautiful green strands on its eyes.

The 3rd prey. just within 30 mins of hunting this robberfly able to capture another prey this time another grasshopper but bigger than the 1st prey. It keeps flying around trying to escape from me but as they say in photography you should have the patience most specially in macro and finally it rested on top of a stone then i got my chance with my whole body lying on the ground to have a closer shot.
