About Peter Lee
Lee Shiuh Hwa (Peter) started photography since 1987. He thought of camera as an interesting and ‘cool weapon’. He shot mostly landscape and travel photos before his journey in macro photography began.
In 2011, Peter was stunned to see an image of a robber fly with a very beautiful compound eyes. That image triggered his passion in macro photography. Being a self-taught photographer, he seek a lot of critique and today, he is able to produce stunning macro images within a short time through relentless experimentation.
Although Peter loves to shoot all kind of bugs, insects and beetles; Peter has a special love for robber fly. He is fascinated by robbery fly’s hunting skills and love to photograph it with a prey.
Peter’s best macro weapon is his DIY flash diffuser. He believes that a good flash diffuser is the key to great macro photography. To find out more on how he captured these stunning images, join us on 20 June 2013!
