Singapore Karting Championship Round 2 (Largest Karting Race EVER!)
Photoshoot cum Photography Competition



Event Details:

Date:18 Aug 2012 (Saturday) and 19 Aug 2012 (Sunday)
Time: 8am to 5pm
Place: F1 Pit Building
Who can/should join: Anyone (Beginner or Pro)with a camera, DSLR preferred. Shooters who can only shoot on one of the days OR shooters who are able to commit at least 4 hours of shoot on either one of the days are also welcome.
Do I need to submit photos?: Strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
Do I need to pay?: No, it's totally FREE!

Motorsports Workshop Details:

Shooters who wish to learn more about motorsports photography may visit Motorsports Photography Workshop: Catching the Action On Wheels for more details.

Things to bring:

1)Camera
2)Lens(es)
3)Water
4)Umbrella(In case it rains)
5)Tripod(This is a must)

Things you will/might expect to shoot:

1) Singapore Karting Championship Race
2) Super Car Club Race: BMW M Series, Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus
3) Cheer Leading Demo by Star Cheer Elite

Formed in 18 May 2012, MOPSG managed to amass 200 photographers (more than 185 photographers turned up) within 4 days to cover SKC 2012 Round 2 at F1 Pit Building!

Hi Ryan, in the content, those who can only commit 4 hours and only need to attend one of the days.

It really depends on how you plan to shoot. I even find monopod a tad tough to use for a karting race because of the distance between shooter and track is not really that far as compared to an F1.

I guess that requirement is carried forward from the Gardens by the Bay shoot. It should be ok not to bring the tripod/monopod though a monopod can and do help to relieve some muscle stress for some users.

Reply "RSVP 4 ****** ***" without quotes to shoot this LARGEST karting race ever at F1 Pit Building! SMS again if you did not receive a reply after 5mins.
