Guide to avoid being blacklisted by MOPSG

Each time a RSVP'ed participant failed to turn up for an event without notice or attempted to give last minute UNRSVP notice or attempted to UNRSVP after event, MOPSG will send a SMS to them after event to inform them of the action to blacklist them. We also allow participants who failed to turn up to write in to [email protected] to explain if it's a mistake and also to allow us to rectify any lapses that may have occurred during taking of attendance.

Participants who were absent will be blacklisted. They are allowed to be blacklisted up to 3 times before they get a permanent ban. Banned participants will not be able to:

    1. Participate in any of the photography events organised by MOPSG
    2. Enjoy exclusive MOPSG deals
    3. Participate in all photography competitions organised by MOPSG to win great prizes

Each time we blacklisted a participant, he/she receives lower priority in terms of MOPSG updates via SMS. This is how SMS updates will be sent.

    1. Active SMS subscribers with clean record will enjoy the highest priority in terms of SMS updates
    2. Blacklistees (1 time)
    3. Blacklistees (2 times)
    4. Blacklistees (3 times)

To remove 1 blacklisted record, the blacklistee needs to attend the next 3 photography events, organised by MOPSG, that they have RSVP.

Blacklisted participants may or may not receive all MOPSG updates and exclusive deals. Please kindly ensure that you RSVP only if you are able to attend the event or UNRSVP within the given deadline. If deadline is not given, the rule of thumb is to UNRSVP one day before event. Any attempt to UNRSVP on event day or after event day will not be entertained.

Participants who were appointed as official photographer for an event but failed to turn up will get a straight permanent ban.
