Guide to hiding contents from other viewers

MOPSG forum now allows members to hide their post from other viewers in selected forums. Examples of usage of this feature:

1. Hide your photo submission from other viewers when participating in a photo competition.
2. Hide your submission from other viewers when participating in MOPSG's photo critique session.
3. Merchants can hide special promotions from viewers until they performed a specific action.

The buttons to hide posts are highlighted in a red box. Note: You need to wait for the page to load completely before you can see the advanced options. You can do a test post on this feature at http://www.mopsg.com/forums/testing-1-2-3/





Here's what each of the button does (You might not see all available options):

• H -> Same as P. See below for more information.
• R -> Content within is not shown to user until he/she replies in that thread.
• T -> Content within can only be seen after the user clicked on the "Like" link (Not facebook like button).
• RT -> Content within is not shown to user until he/she either reply or click on the "Like" link (Not facebook like button).
• P -> Content within can only be seen by people who have more posts than defined number of posts.

Example: Follow the steps below to hide your post using P function.

Step 1: Click on P icon


Step 2: Enter a high post count (ie: 99999) so only users with post counts higher than 99999 will be able to see your post. You may leave this blank.


Step 3: You can insert an image or text within the tags.


Voila! The post or image will only be visible to you.
