November 25th 2013 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Rather than focus on women as victims of violence, the Singapore Committee for UN Women invites you to celebrate the strength and inherent power in every woman - the everyday Sheroes. We all have Sheroes in our lives who inspire us, whether it be your mother, your bus driver, your boss, or your daughter.
