3D2N Star Chase Expedition in Mount Bromo
Date: 1st May 2014
DAY 1
Arrival at Surabaya for an early lunch followed by a bus trip up to Mount Bromo.
Once checked into the hotel, we will start with a sunset shoot around the hotel and a warm-up astrophotography shoot.
DAY 2
Get prepared to rise and shine before dawn, as you will trek up to Mount Penanjakan and get captivated by the breath-taking view of the Milkyway before the sunrise to the east of Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru and Mount Batok.
In the afternoon, we will venture out to the nearby villages to capture farms and cottages followed by a sunset shoot.
We will end the night with Milkyway hunting around Mount Penanjakan.
DAY 3
Rise and shine before dawn for another chance to capture the Milkyway till sun rise at an alternate location. This is also the last day for you to flaunt your astrophotography skills before we bid farewell to beautiful Mount Bromo and Home Sweet Home.
The tour will be led by Guek Peng Siong and mainly focus on sunset, sunrise, milkyway and human interest. There will be no arrangement made for time lapse photography, which also means you get to rest after 10pm.

FLIGHT DETAILS (Due to timing issue, we can only fly by Jetstar for this tour)
*Note that booking of air tickets will be done by participants and land tour package does not include air fare.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Itinerary is subject to changes due to unforeseen weather conditions or circumstances;
- English will be the primary language used throughout the tour;
- Only paticipants who indicate interest in Workshop would be informed of Workshop timing;
- All deposits and payments made are non-refundable;
- Payments can be made via wire transfer, bank transfer or Paypal (subject to 5% surcharge).
- We reserved the rights to amend the terms without prior notice;
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (eg: act of God such as natural disasters etc), fees (after less expenses already paid to local parties/agencies) will be refunded;
- Places are on a first come first served basis. 50% deposit must be made by 28 Jan 2014 for confirmation of tour. Balance payment will be collected one month before tour. To avoid confusion, correspondences and booking of tour will only be done through [email protected]
