    Travel Thru' The Lens: Cambodia

    Cambodia. This land of history Angkor is the capital city of the ancient Khmer Kingdom that lasts from AD 802 to 1295. Also called the City of God-Kings, Angkor Wat is also called Mount Meru where in Hindu mythology, is the City of Gods and Kings. The modern city of Siem Reap is our base of travel has modern creature comforts for the traveller too! Join us as we step through time and experience the mystery and beauty of the land we call Cambodia.

    Proposed Itinerary:

    Day 1: Arrival Siem Reap (D)
    Upon arrival pick up and transfer to hotel check in.
    Visit Khmer Ceramic Center and leather art carving center in Bakhong.
    Dinner at local Restaurant.

    Day 2: Kompong Pluk floating village (B/L/D)
    Morning drive to Kompong Pluk where you take the nicest photos of long pillar houses, floating houses, rice paddy and take a small boat to see the water forest. Take ox cart on the way and have local meal for lunch.

    Day 3: Angkor Wat & Banteay Srey ( B/L/D)
    Early morning set out to Ang Kor Wat to take sunrise shot. We will then visit Neak Pean, Terrace of elephant, Baphoun, Bayon and South gate. Following that, lunch at Srah Srang. Afternoon visit Banteay Srey lady temple in pink color, Banteay Chmar, Ta prom. Back to hotel.

    Day 4:
    Option (a): Departure. Breakfast. Free & Easy until departure.
    Option (b): Angkor Wat – 2nd Day (B/L/D)

    Day 5: Kulen Waterfall ( B/L/D)
    Morning drive to Kulen Mountain for the sightseeing of 1000 lingas under the water, scenery of mountain and jungle, waterfall, big reclining Buddha on the rock. Taste local food and relax at the booth. Late afternoon, return to Siem Reap.

    Day 6: Day 5: Departure (B)
    Breakfast. Free & Easy until departure.

    Date of travel: 16 Aug – 19 Aug 2012
    Option (a): 4D3N - $600/750 (twin share/single)

    Date of travel: 16 Aug – 21 Aug 2012
    Option (b): 6D5N - $700/900 (twin share/single)

    I have visited India last year, It is a really beautiful country, I have take lots of pic there. I'll definitely post that pictures next time.
