    About Liew Tong Leng
Liew Tong Leng (or Liew, as he prefers to be called) picked up photography in 1992, as a result of being in the company of friends who were photography enthusiasts. Little did he know then that this hobby would blossom into a full-blown passion that would take him to places he’d never imagine. Literally.

As a testimony to his technical and artistic talent, Liew has clinched hundreds of photography awards, including the Great Eastern 4th Photography Competition (2004), Best of Asian Aerospace Photography Contest (2004), and The Big Shot (2010), a reality TV programme aired on MediaCorp Ch5.

Thanks all for taking time off to attend the session and we look forward to seeing all of you again soon! (Note: A handful of participants on the left weren't captured in the frame, sorry!)

This image was taken at Tung Chung, HK on a cold late december evening.
Dodgings were done to the sky and water to add contrast to the scene. The rocks were also brighten to add foreground interest.

Compositionally, I find that this image is weighted to the left with nothing much to show on the right.
I also find that the trailing wake left by the boat in the center of the frame kinda distracting. Would it have help if
I had waited until the boat had passed and the wake diminished to provide a better transition for the viewers' eyes to move
from the foreground to the fisherman and on toward the the mountain in the background?

Would it also make for a better composition if I have move in closer to show the paraphernalia of the fisherman?
