Well... What are the areas that need the pass then..? coz pit and grandstand area is out of bounds, i dun see any other place i can go other than walking around the fence...

The spectactor stand is open for shooters today with official tag where shooters can shoot grid gals, cheerleaders and karts forming up at start line. Also official mopsg shooters can submit their best shots and stand a chance to win prizes.

Also, you can take part in the photo contest where top 3 may get chance to shoot F1.

Correction: Top 3 winners might be invited to shoot as official in SKC night race at F1 pit building around Oct.

I had a blast today at the Karting Race Photography Competition, despite the scorching heat I gave all my best to take good shots... Justin how, about top 3 winners get to do a photoshoot during the F1 race.... Awesome

I keep getting a sms saying that my attendance was not being marked and therefore would need to give explanation on this absence or i will be blacklisted.

Please check your record that i was present on the 18 Aug morning and my pass number is 66. Attendance was marked and i did sign off the indemnity form.

I would think there is an error araising from your earlier system glitch where many of us were asked to register many times for the same event. Please check your system.

No worries, the SMS was sent out to rectify any lapses that may occurred during attendance taking. Many photogs had RSVP for their friends using the same mobile number and this has created much confusion and thus, its no longer allowed. As indicated in the SMS, please direct your feedbacks to [email protected] in future as this is not the right channel to do so. Please indicate your name and mobile number and in the email. Thanks.

From the pics i got, confirm my skill is rusty. Hit rate was very low on first day till late afternoon and with better results on 2nd day after remembering what works and what doesnt. Heng i just brought a lightweight 75-300mm instead of what i planned to use because confirm they would have been wasted since my technique needs more work. I didnt even bother to PP the images since unlikely anyone would want the pics.

Saw quite a number of prolific photographers turn up on 2nd day including FAS Chief Photographer himself.

Thanks for the opportunity for the shoot. It was a great warm up for F1 even if it was just shooting from outside. Do update if organising such activities again.
